Deleting your account
Last updated October 12, 2026Also in Português · Español
This translation is here to help. The Portuguese version is the one that binds.
In short
- In the app: Settings → Delete account. It happens at once and can’t be undone.
- Without the app: write to oi@munvi.app from your account’s email address. We erase everything within 15 days.
- Deleting your account does not cancel your Pro subscription. Cancel it on Google Play first.
- If you want to keep your collection, download it first under Settings → Export my data.

1In the app
- On the home screen, tap the person icon at the top to open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- If you like, tap Download your collection first. Pick why you’re leaving and, if you want, tell us more.
- Tap Delete account to confirm. The account and everything it held are erased at once, and an email confirms when it’s done.
2By email
Without the app, for example if you already uninstalled it, write to oi@munvi.app from your account’s email address asking for deletion.
We erase the same as a deletion in the app within 15 days and reply when it’s done.
3What is erased
- The account: your Google profile’s name, email and photo.
- Your folders, the posts you saved and their cards, with your edits, notes and photos, the places and what you marked about them, your reminders and your trash.
- The share links you created, which stop working.
- Media files (videos, images and covers) that no other account saved.
- Notification tokens, your preferences, your plan and the connections to Claude and ChatGPT.
- The reports and messages you sent from the app.
- Your record at RevenueCat, which receives the purchase data on our behalf, with the history of your Pro purchases.
4What stays
Posts other people saved too. Munvi keeps the video, the images and the card it wrote for each public post only once, and whoever saved the same post keeps them. That reading carries nothing that links it to you, nor your edits or notes. If nobody else has the post, it is erased along with the files.
Shared folders. What you saved in someone else’s folder becomes the folder owner’s and stays there. A folder you shared passes, with your posts, to the first person who joined it.
Copies people received. Whoever saved a card from one of your links has a copy of their own, which stays with them.
Purchase records. Google Play keeps your Pro purchase in your Google account. That record is Google’s, not ours, and stays with Google.
Data that identifies no one. The reason you picked when leaving, with no name, email or identifier; AI usage counts (tokens, not content); and the app usage events already sent, tied only to the account’s identifier.
Backups, logs and correspondence. Encrypted backups expire on their own within 30 days, and processing and error logs within 90 days. Messages you exchanged with support by email, or through Talk to us, which arrive in our inbox, stay there as correspondence.
5The subscription goes on
Deleting your account, or uninstalling the app, does not cancel your Pro subscription: Google Play bills it, and billing continues until you cancel there.
Cancel before deleting, under Settings → Your plan → Manage on Google Play, or afterwards, in the Google Play app → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Munvi.
